INTERNAL PROJECTS

I was selected as one of sixteen people throughout the company to comprise Forrester’s inaugural D&I Council; working closely alongside fellow councilmembers, Forrester’s executive leadership, and the Employee Experience team to identify and address diversity and inclusion needs and co-create solutions within the workplace.

I was directly responsible for:

  1. Empathy & Awareness Series – utilized intranet to educate about microaggressions in the workplace and developed educational resources for employees can utilize. This series lasted for a full year and was foundational to developing Forrester’s cultural competency.

  2. Celebration months – I co-lead Pride and BHM and provided background support for all global events. I also participated in employee panels for Pride and Disability Awareness month.


CELEBRATIONS

Concept: Utilize employee voices and actions to showcase Forrester’s commitment to D&I pillars (race, ethnicity, age, gender, disability, LGBTQ+) beyond a corporate statement.
